Having friends at work can boost satisfaction and productivity.

In fact, Gallup has repeatedly shown that it’s key to employee engagement. “Employees who have a best friend at work are significantly more likely to:

🤝 Get more done in less time

🤝 Support a safe workplace with fewer accidents and reliability concerns

🤝 Innovate and share ideas

🤝 Have fun while working”

This is even more reason why management should encourage friendships at work! Create the space for people to get to know each other and build connections.

I’m thankful for all the work friends that I have made over the years.

They have made challenging work fun and bearable! And some of them stayed connected outside of work, even across geographical boundaries. I’m grateful for friends who kept in touch throughout the years. 🙏
